Proprietary information and trade secrets

EOSD practices technology established over many years in the field of optical sensor technology, in particular design and development of infrared sensors.

Patents

EOSD has developed and patented new novel technology, including the Active Microbolometer and Mosaic Pixel technology.

The active microbolometer is an infrared (IR) sensitive detector which functions as a thin film transistor (TFT). It is based on amorphous silicon technology, and can be fabricated in a foundry which produces amorphous silicon devices such as TFT liquid crystal displays, image sensors and solar cells.
